Special Events
High Zero Symposium
Composers Discuss How They Use Improvisation
Saturday, September 21st at 5:30pm, FREE

Moderated by Jessica Keyes

During a special happy hour at Red Emma's.

Here's an exciting opportunity for the fans of improvisation, experimental music, and composition to query composers on their practice. A panel of composers will discuss the diverse ways in which they incorporate elements of improvisation and performer choice into their compositions. Many of these composers will be performing in this year's festival as improvisers.

Panelists: Sarah Hennies, Nik Francis, Jamal Moore, Allison Clendaniel, James Young, Neil Feather, and Rosie Langabeer

These details may be subject to change. Check back here for details on the day of the event.
